Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.T.A.PUNITHA, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate for the respondent, the court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.5213 of 2021 dated 21.04.2021, for executing the sureties.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that in view of the pandemic situation and due to nonavailability of sureties, the petitioners could not meet their counsel to execute the sureties before the trial Court in time. Hence, the petitioners seek extension of time.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this petition is allowed and the time for executing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
