O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent herein to transfer the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2016 on the file of the 3rd respondent to the 4th respondent police.

2. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this is not a fit case to transfer the case in Crime No.5 of 2016 to CBCID or any other specialized agency. However, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Thanjavur is directed to monitor the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2016 that has been conducted by the Inspector of Police, DCB, Thanjavur and take action in accordance with law.

3. With the above direction, this petition is closed. No costs.
