Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents to establish the TASMAC Shop in Door No.24, M.K.Puram Main Road, Ward No.88, Madurai with immediate effect enabling the poor citizens to live their dignified life peacefully without any disturbance from the "Kudi"magangal based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2017. [Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents not to establish TASMAC Shop in Door No.24, M.K.Puram Main Road, Ward No.88, Madurai, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.B.Pugazhendhi, learned Additional Advocate General, has taken notice for the respondents 1 and 4 and Mr.M.Muniasamy, learned counsel, has taken notice for the respondents 2 and 3. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has

contended to the effect that the respondents are going to establish a TASMAC Shop in Door No.24, M.K.Puram Main Road, Ward No.88, Madurai and the petitioner and others have given a representation dated 15.06.2017 to the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken and under the said circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 and 4 has contended to the effect that the first respondent can be directed to consider the representation dated 15.06.2017.

5.Considering the contentions putforth on either side, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. 6.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the first respondent viz., District Collector, Madurai District, is strictly directed to look into the representation dated 15.06.2017 and take appropriate action within a period of one week.
