Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is an aided minority College. It appointed the petition mentioned persons in the posts of Library Assistant and Record Clerk. During the pendency of this writ petition, appointment of two persons, namely, A.Antony Raja and R.Raja were approved. In respect of those two individuals the issue has become infructuous. The learned counsel appearing for the Management submitted that he would be satisfied if direction is given to the third respondent to consider approving the appointment of G.Suresh Kumar as record Clerk on merits and in accordance with law.

3. The third respondent is directed to pass order on the Management's 2/4

proposal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
