O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to give police protection for life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2021.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner through online, enquiry was undertaken in C.S.R.No.207 of 2021 and it was closed on 05.06.2021 itself on the ground that it is a civil dispute https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.10476 of 2021 between the parties and the parties were directed to approach the civil Court for redressing the grievances, where the matter is pending.

3. From the records, it is seen that a suit in O.S.No130 of 2016 is also pending before the learned District Munsif Court, Thanjavur. Since the matter has been closed by the respondent Police, nothing survives for further consideration. Granting of police protection may not arise in such matters.

4. With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
