PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondents to conduct auction cum tender in respect of the shops situated at Gandhi market in 1/4

Dindigul Corporation by following the fair and reasonable procedure in terms of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and the rules made there under and allot the shops to successful bidders of the auction by fixing the fair rent within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct auction cum tender in respect of the shops situated at Gandhi market in Dindigul Corporation in a transparent way.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondents submitted that pending Writ Petition, the auction cum tender was conducted and successful bidders were allotted shops. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
