PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct an initiate proceeding in CSR No.98 of 2022 on 11.04.2022.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct an initiate proceeding in CSR No.98 of 2022 on 11.04.2022. 1/4

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after receiving the complaint dated 11.4.2022, the respondents police have not taken any action.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's husband given a complaint on 31.03.2022 before the second respondent police and the same is pending in CSR stage in CSR No.98 of 2022, dated 11.04.2022 for enquiry. Again the petitioner gave another complaint dated 17.05.2022, and the same is pending for enquiry. Therefore, he seeks three weeks time to complete the enquiry.

4. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents police.

5. Recording the same, the second respondent police is hereby directed to take suitable action on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 11.04.2022 and to complete the enquiry in CSR No.98 of 2022 2/4

within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
