ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to release the petitioner's Vento VOLKSWAGEN Car bearing registration number TN 58 AD 0804 to him.

2.When the matter is taken up today for hearing, it is represented by Mr.C.Ramar, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents that the vehicle, which is the subject of this writ petition, has already been confiscated by the respondents. In view of the confiscation order, the petitioner will have to challenge the same before the appropriate authority and this writ petition is not maintainable.
