ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that the respondent Police has not completed the investigation, has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.188 of 2023 and to file a final report within a stipulated time.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submits that investigation has already been completed, however, the final report is yet to be filed. He further submits that the final report would be filed within a period of one week.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to file the final report within a period of one week and also ensure that the final report is taken on 2/4

file within a period of two weeks from thereon. The respondent Police is also directed to furnish a copy of the final report to the petitioner/defacto complainant. 12.06.2024 NCC : Yes / No.
