O R D E R

The petitioners, who are in-laws of the defacto complainant, have approached this Court that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner. 1/4

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that on the complaint of the first petitioner's wife, they are conducting the petition enquiry from 29.05.2024 in C.S.R.No.346 of 2024.

3. Considering the fact the marriage itself appears to have been performed only on 24.01.2024, within three months, there was some dispute and the complaint has been lodged.

4. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that first petitioner is willing to live with his wife and to show his bonafide, he has also filed an application for restitution of conjugal rights before the Principal Sub Court, Dindigul.

5. Considering the same, this Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to appear before the respondent police and the respondent police shall refer the petitioner and the defacto complainant to the Social Welfare Officer and find a solution for their dispute. The respondent police shall not harass the petitioner.
