PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to survey and fix the boundary stones of the petitioner's land in Re-survey No.442/2 and Re-Survey No.442/3 situated at Ayanpappakudi Village 1/4

Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to give police protection during the survey conducted by the 1st and 2nd respondents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2021 within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court. This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to survey the subject property and to fix the boundary stones and also direct the third respondent to give police protection during the survey conducted by respondent Nos.1 and 2 based on the representation made by the petitioner on 21.04.2021.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the official respondents submitted that the survey was conducted by the second respondent and the report of the survey was also placed before this Court. It is seen that the 2/4

petitioner was also present at the time of survey and has acknowledged by signing the proceedings.
