Prayer in Crl.O.P(MD)No. 2741 of 2022:- Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records of the impugned FIR in Crime No.2 of 2021 on the file of 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal in so far as the petitioner is concerned. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. R.M. Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor for the Petitioner and of Mr. K. Prabhu, Advocate for the 1st respondent, this Court made the following order: It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the investigation has since been over. As a matter of fact, the quantity of mineral, etc., has already been measured. Only things, which are pending is to get the Lab Report and also to get sanction with reference to the official accused.

2. In view of the fact that getting sanction is said to take some more time, an extension of time is sought for another period of six months.

3. Considering the reasons mentioned, time is extended by another four months. A copy of this order shall also be brought to the notice of the Sanctioning Authority so that the authority may take up the issue as expeditiously as possible.
