*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed this Writ Petition to direct the respondents to take appropriate action against those who have misappropriated the funds allotted for undertaking various Welfare Schemes.

2. The affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition is bereft of details. The petitioner is stated to be a former

Councillor of the Karaikudi Municipality. The Officers, who were responsible for the act of misappropriation, are not made parties to the Writ Petition. We, therefore, do not find any reason to entertain this Writ Petition.

3. In the upshot, we dismiss the Writ Petition. However, we make it clear that this order would not stand in the way of any of the respondents from taking action, in case it is found that public money was misappropriated. No costs.
