This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.224 of 2018, dated 11.07.2018 and to file a final report within a stipulated time.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that after investigation, the case has been closed as 'mistake of fact' and report to that effect was also despatched to the jurisdictional Court, ie., learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedasanthur on 21.04.2022.
3.Recording the said submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to take further legal action in this matter.
