Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is undergoing B.Com(CA) degree course in the second respondent college. He has to write the 4th semester examination. Since the petitioner is involved in a criminal case involving another student, he has not been permitted to write the examination.

3.I wanted to know whether the petitioner is having requisite attendance. The learned counsel appearing for Sourashtra College states that the petitioner is having requisite attendance. It is true that the disciplinary proceedings are yet to get concluded. If no relief is granted in this writ petition, the petitioner may have to redo the entire semester.

W.P.(MD)No.13127 of 2022 and 4.The petitioner through his counsel gives an undertaking that he will submit a handwritten apology addressed to the Principal. In the said letter, he will give an undertaking that he will conduct himself properly in future also. 5.Since the petitioner has shown remorse, in order to ensure that his future is not affected, the respondents are directed to permit the petitioner to write the forthcoming examination. This writ petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
