PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.114 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/ A3 and A4, who were arrested and remanded judicial custody on 08.04.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,294(b),336,341,342,323,302 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.114 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 07.04.2023 in O.Mettupatti Village thousand of people participated in the adal padal event and during the festival untoward incident happened and one Vigneshwaran died in the event, hence the case came to be registered.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and a false case has been foisted against https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.8985 of 2023 them. He would submit that the petitioners are in judicial custody from 08.04.2023, hence he seek bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposing the bail petition would submit that the A2 is still absconding and the investigation is in the very earlier stage.

5.Taking into consideration the nature and gravity of offence committed by the petitioners and also the fact that the investigation is in the earlier stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
