ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground, based on the proceedings in R.C.No. 16567/CA2/2016 dated 11.04.2016 issued by the 1st respondent by considering her representation dated 31.10.2016.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that since her father died, while he was in service under the 3rd respondent, she submitted an application seeking compassionate appointment and despite a communication dated 11.04.2016 sent by the first respondent, so far she has not been given any appointment and her representation in that regard has also not been considered till date. Therefore, she is before this Court.

3.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the respondents and the learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, who submitted that the grievance of the petitioner would be looked into on merits.
4.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of the proceedings dated 11.04.2016 of the first respondent and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
