Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant permission to perform the cultural programme of "Adal Padal" on 05.07.2017 at about 07.00 pm to 12.00 am in the eve of South Street Arulmigu Sri Ganapathi, Sri Mariamman, Sri Chellayaeeamman, Sri Kaliamman, Sri Drowpathi Amman is situated at Kallagam, Orathur, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichy District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.06.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Amarnath For Respondent : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent. 3.It is seen from the records that on 22.06.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 22.06.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
