ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to survey the petitioner's land in Survey No.72/12B to an extent of 0.03.0. Ares in the Chettikuruchi group, S.Mayadipatti Village, Sigampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the representation dated 19.06.2017.
2.Heard Mr.S.Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The case of the petitioner is that he purchased an extent of 0.03.0 Ares of land in S.No.72/12B, through a registered sale
deed dated 27.03.2008 and he has been in possession of the same for the past nine years. Thereafter, he gave a petition to the Tahsildar, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District on 08.09.2014, after paying necessary fees to survey his land. 5.The petitioner would state that after bifurcation of Sivagangai District, the first respondent directed the petitioner to approach the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner on 19.06.2017, gave another petition to the second respondent including the challan copy for surveying his land. Till date, no steps were taken. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition.
6.By considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, after giving opportunity to the necessary parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
