Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to file Final Report in Crime No.6 of 2018, pending on the file of the second respondent police within a reasonable time. ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent to file Final Report in Crime No.6 of 2018, pending on the file of the second respondent police within a reasonable time. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.6 of 2018, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the case was registered on 17.04.2018, so far no investigation has been completed. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that so far four witnesses have been examined. Totally six accused persons and some of the accused persons were released on Anticipatory bail and some accused are absconding. He seeks four months time to complete the investigation.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file Final Report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the Final Report, compliance Report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.
