PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct first and second respondents to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her matrimonial family members by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 18.04.2023. ORDER
The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner married one K.Ajay Ram and their marriage is a inter caste marriage, which is not to the liking of her parents. Now, the petitioner's family members were facing threat from her parents. Hence, the petitioner's husband preferred a complaint before the second respondent police.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that with regard to the complaint given by the petitioner's husband, enquiry was conducted and the third and fourth respondents have given an undertaking stating that they will not disturb the petitioner and her family members any further. Thereafter, no such complaint was received and no threat was found.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. 18.05.2023 Internet :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Speaking/Non speaking order sbn
