This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission for Musical Kachery Program at Arulmigu Veppilai Mariamman Thirukovil, Manaparai, Trichy District on 07.05.2025.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that for the above said temple, six persons have filed writ petitions seeking permission for conducting the said programmes on different dates. Among them, for one of the persons, the respondent police has granted permission for conducting the programme. However, the petitioner's representation is under consideration and they will consider the same and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law. 3.Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and the representation is pending with the second respondent and the second respondent also granted permission to conduct the programme, dated 2/4

12.05.2025 for the same festival, then, the petitioner's representation can also be considered.

4.Therefore, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and grant permission for conducting the programme on 07.05.2025 by imposing appropriate conditions, in accordance with law.
