O R D E R

(Order of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.,) The petitioner is before this Court by way of this public interest litigation alleging that certain private parties have encroached a pathway.

2. It is submitted that pursuant to the petitioner's representation, the Tahsildar, Kovilpatti, directed the Block Development Officer, Kovilpatti, to take appropriate action, vide proceedings dated 15.05.2017.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions from the second respondent submitted that the second respondent will take appropriate action in the matter as already survey has been completed.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, we direct the second respondent to proceed with the matter in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.. No costs.
