Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pay the petitioners GPF (General Provident Fund) amount totally a sum of Rs.37,500/- with 12% interest from 01.01.2014 onward to till the payment of the said amount and also cost.

ORDER
Seeking a direction to the respondents to pay GPF amount payable to the petitioner, the present writ petition came to be filed.
2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the GPF amount has been paid to the petitioner, but, belatedly and hence, liberty may be granted to the petitioner to file a fresh representation along with calculation memo with regard to interest for the belated payment of GPF.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.2 and 3 has no objection in granting such relief to the petitioner.
4.In view of the above, the petitioner is permitted to file a fresh representation to the respondents along with calculation memo indicating the interest payable to him, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on filing of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks thenceforth.
