PRAYER :- For bail in Crime No.2 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.02.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 366-A and 417 IPC and Sections 5(l) and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 in Crime No.2 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, by giving false promise to marry the victim girl, had sexual intercourse with her on several times. Thereafter, the petitioner refused to marry the victim girl and went with another girl. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is a case of love affair and he has been falsely implicated in this case, hence, he prayed for bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent raised objection stating that the victim also admits the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.8820 of 2023 allegations levelled against the petitioner in her statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C.

5.Taking note of the bad conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
