These Writ Petitions have been filed by the petitioners for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2017 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.G. Kasinathadurai, learned Standing Counsel for TNEB takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent the Writ Petitions itself are taken up for final disposal.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- "The first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 04.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
