ORDER

With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner seeks to quash the impugned letters of the first respondent dated 12.03.2025 and 09.04.2025 and seeks renewal of Passport. He has submitted an application before the jurisdictional passport officer. Since the said application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the second respondent submitted that as on date, no case is pending against the petitioner.

5. Recording the above said submission, the first respondent is directed to process the petition mentioned application and to issue passport to the petitioner, subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of on the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
