ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that the respondent Police has not completed the investigation, has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.21 of 2019 and to file the final report within a stipulated time.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submits that the final report was already filed, however, the same has been returned for compliance of certain defects. He further submits that the respondent Police would comply with the defects and represent the same within a period of two weeks.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to re-present the final report within a period 2/4

of two weeks and also ensure that the final report is taken on file within a period of three weeks from thereon.
