ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) The present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the mother seeking to produce the body or person of his son, namely, Muniyappan Durairaj, aged about 20 years, before this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 13.06.2024, it was submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that during the course of investigation, it was found that the petitioner's son fell in love with one Ramya, D/o.Mayan, who is the third respondent herein and both of them have eloped and that a complaint has been given by the parents of the said Ramya before the Dindigul Taluk Police Station on 12.06.2024 for 'woman missing' and CSR is pending. Hence, this Court had directed both the Inspector of Police, Dindigul Town South Police Station and the Inspector of Police, Dindigul Taluk Police Station to take steps to find out the whereabouts of the petitioner's son and the said Ramya.

3. Pursuant to the order passed on 13.06.2024, the alleged detenu was secured and he was produced before this Court today. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the alleged detenu, who is the son of the petitioner, had gone along with his friend, Ramya, who is also a major and that they were were traced at Tiruppur and brought back home.

4. The alleged detenu is present before this Court today. We had enquired the alleged detenu and he expressed his willingness to go along with his mother.

5. In view of the same, this Court finds that the alleged detenu is not in illegal detention and hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. (A.D.J.C.,J.) (K.R.S.,J.) 14.06.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Lm
