O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the 3rd respondent to provide sanctioned subsidy and loan amount of Rs.5,00,136/-, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 01.06.2017 in the light of the 2nd respondent's office proceedings in Na.Ka.No.TAHDCO-2015-2016 EDP-TN-63, dated 03.06.2017 within a time frame.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he is engaged in Centring work for the past 18 years. He belonged to Pallar community, which falls under the Scheduled Caste community. The petitioner is the customer of the 3rd respondent bank and on 03.08.2015, he approached the 3rd respondent seeking financial assistance. 3.The petitioner would state that the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) was established in the year 1974 with an object to improve the socio economic status of the Scheduled Caste community people and under the scheme, he is entitled for subsidy. Though, the 3rd respondent has sent a consent letter to the 2nd respondent for sanction of the loan and the 2nd respondent in-turn released the subsidy amount, the benefit was not given to the petitioner and hence, the present writ petition.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 as well as the learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent and perused the materials available on records. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders, purely on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order copy. No costs.
