The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 60 days in filing the appeal, challenging the award passed in M.C.O.P.No.285 of 2019 dated 07.10.2023 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal / Principal Subordinate Court, Tenkasi.

2. Despite receipt of notice, the respondents failed to enter into appearance.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. Considering the reasons assigned and taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list it for admission in the usual course.
