PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondent from proceeding with the appointment of non-hereditary trustee without the formation of the district committee and their accommodations for the temple, namely, Arulmigu Poisollatha Meyyarkoil, Pudukkottai District as directed in G.O.Ms.No.22, dated 13.02.2023.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) With reference to the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the term of the District Committee expired on 25.02.2025. Since new Committee is yet to be constituted, no person will be appointed as non-hereditary trustee without formation of the District Committee. 2.In view of the said submission, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken at present with reference to the ground raised. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
