The petitioner claims title to the properties bearing Door Nos.1/196, 1/197, 1/198 and 1/199 in Sulakarai Village, Aruppukottai Taluk of Virudhunagar District. Upon submission of a representation seeking patta, it is stated that such representation was forwarded to the Revenue Divisional Officer and Tahsildar on 18.02.2021. Although the Revenue Divisional Officer referred the case to the Tahsildar by memorandum dated 16.04.2021, it is stated that no action was taken thereon. 2. Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned counsel for the State, accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents and submits that the petitioner's representation would be disposed of within a reasonable time frame.
3. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents 3 and 4 are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.01.2021 and dispose of the same by a reasoned order after providing a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to any others who would be affected by such decision. Such a reasoned order shall be passed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Accordingly, W.P(MD).No.13791 of 2021 is disposed of on these terms without any order as to costs.
