ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
necessary action against the erring officials for issuing the transit permit for illegal transportation of rough stone and sand by the Mining Officials and Public Works Department at Kanyakumari District for excess quantity based on the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2017.
2.By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.The petitioner made a representation to the respondents 1 & 2 on 31.07.2017, inter alia alleging that with connivance of the officials of the respondent Department as well as others, illicit quarrying is taking place. As the said representation has not been looked into, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.We are not proposed to consider the larger relief sought for in this writ petition. Taking note of the submission of the petitioner, the respondents 1 &2 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.07.2017 and pass appropriate order, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
