Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct and give police protection to "Aadalum Padalum" dance program on 02.07.2017 at 7.00 PM during the festival of "A/m. Adaikalam Katha Ayyanar Thirukoil" situated at Serubalakadu Village, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District on the basis of representations of petitioner dated 21.06.2017 and 23.06.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.M.R.S.Prabhu For Respondent : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent. 3.It is seen from the records that on 21.06.2017 and 23.06.2017 representations have been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

representations dated 21.06.2017 and 23.06.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
