The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the second respondent to permit the petitioner to participate in the Hockey Unit of Virudhunagar District.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 4 submitted that the tournament was

already conducted on 10.05.2023 to 13.05.2023 and thereafter, on 18.05.2023 to 21.05.2023. As such, the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.
