This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant Patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of land comprised in Old Survey No.354/4, New Survey No.400/32, Velampatti Village, Natham, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 14.06.2017, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3.According to the petitioner, she purchased a house site in Old Survey No.354/4 through a registered sale deed, dated 04.09.2013. Since then, she has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. Since the Patta was not transferred in the name of the petitioner, she sent a representation through RPAD, dated 14.06.2017, to the second respondent requesting him to grant Patta in her favour in respect of the land in Old Survey No.354/4, New https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Survey No.400/32, Velampatti Village, Natham, Dindigul District, and also sent a reminder, dated 19.06.2017. Since no action was taken, the present Writ Petition is filed.
4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.06.2017, after providing an opportunity to all the necessary parties and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
