PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from conducting Kumbabishekam to be held on 23.08.2018 and 24.08.2018 in the eve of Sri Dharmamuneeswarar Temple Festival at Kayangulam Village, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the petitioner's objection letter dated 24.07.2018 to the first and third respondents and pass orders upon the same within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The contention that have been raised in this writ petition does not involve personal interest of the petitioner. The entire allegation are in the nature of Public Interest Litigation. This writ petition is filed seeking for the relief against the respondents on conducting Kumbabishekam to be held on 23.08.2018 and 24.08.2018, is not maintainable. If the petitioner feels that permission granted for conducting the Kumbabishekam is not in the interest of the people in the village, he can only file a Public Interest Litigation and not a writ petition of this nature. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
