O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the the respondents 1 to 6 herein to permit the petitioner and his family members to worship in the temple in pursuant to the Vaikasi festival of Arulmighu Srimariamman, Sri Kaliamman and Sri Muthalammam temples situated at Nallamuthupalayam, Pannapatti Village, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District on 23.05.2023 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2023 2/5
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation was given to the Collector and thereafter it was forwarded to the Superintendent of Police and no order has been passed till now, hence the present petition has been filed.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation is disposed of, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this Court directs the fifth respondent to consider the representation, dated 15.05.2023 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the rival claimants, if any, on or before 22.05.2023 3/5
6.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
