ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant permission for conducting temple festival to be held from 07.05.2025 to 09.05.2025 in 'Arulmigu Sri Muthalamman Temple' at A.Kamatchipuram, Endapuli Post, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is Nattamai to the said Village and villagers decided to conduct festival in the aforesaid temple from 07.05.2025 to 09.05.2025. Therefore, the petitioner approached the third respondent through representation dated 07.04.2025 for permission and the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the petitioner sent a representation on 07.04.2025 for grant of permission to conduct festival from 07.05.2025 2/5

to 09.05.2025 in the aforesaid temple and the same is pending. He further submits that they will consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the fourth respondent, recording the submission of the respondents 1 to 3 that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and grant permission to conduct festival from 07.05.2025 to 09.05.2025 in connection with 'Arulmigu Sri Muthalamman Temple' situated at A.Kamatchipuram, Endapuli Post, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District, in accordance with law.

5. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
