ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to issue joint patta for the land situated in Survey No.352/3, Pappakudi Village, Kavarankulam Group, Ramanathapuram District, by considering his representation dated 19.04.2025.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property was jointly purchased in the names of the petitioner's paternal grandmother, Rathinammal and his paternal uncle, Venkatesan, in the year 1996. After death of Venkatesan, the revenue records had been mutated in favour of the heirs of Venkatesan exclusively omitting the names of the petitioner and other members of the family. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 19.04.2025 seeking issuance of joint patta in his name and other members of the family, who are entitled to right over the subject property. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court seeking necessary direction.

3.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court. 4.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the second

respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of recipe of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the private respondents 3 to 11.
