Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned notification issued by the 2nd respondent in A2/2335/2017 dated 20.06.2017, published in Dinamalar Daily News Paper dated 25.06.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to renew the lease to collect the fee for the further period of two years i.e up to 30.06.2019 as per G.O.No.181 dated 19.08.2008.

This writ petition is filed challenging the auction notification issued by the second respondent in A2/2335/2017, dated 20.06.2017 published in 'Dinamalar' daily newspaper, dated 25.06.2017.

2. Heard Mr.H.Arumugam, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3. Mr.H.Arumugam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would fairly submit that pursuant to the notification, auction was conducted and a successful bidder was also issued a work order. In view of the subsequent development, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the confirmation of auction made in favour of the successful bidder.
