ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to repair and maintain the Kappalur to Mattuthavani Ring Road on the basis of representation dated 27.06.2017, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has contended to the effect that already a similar writ petition has been filed, wherein the present third respondent has appeared before the Court and given assurance to lay road in the place mentioned in the petition within a period of six months and subsequently tender has been called for and one S.P.K. & Sons has become successful bidder.

4.Considering the representation made on the side of the respondents, this writ petition is totally unwarranted and therefore the same is liable to be dismissed. 5.In fine, this writ petition is dismissed.
