Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to grant permission to the petitioner's association for conducting 'Cock Fight' at near Ayyanar Kovil in Villar Bye-Pass on 11th and 12th February 2017. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Arun Prasad For Respondents : Mr.D.Muruganandam, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 20.01.2017 for conducting Cock Fight on 11.02.2017 and 12.02.2017 in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 20.01.2017 the petitioner has given a representation and the same has not been considered by the respondents. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without

costs and the third respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Taluk Police Station, Thanjavur District is directed to look into the representation dated 20.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
