ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2.According to the petitioner, he is working as the Headmaster of the fourth respondent School and his grievance is that his services from 04.06.1997 to 28.04.2005 was not reckoned, despite the directions of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in the decision reported in 2004 (2) LW 591 [W.A.No.249 of 2002]. In this regard, though he has made several representations, there was no proper action. Therefore, he is before this Court with the present writ petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 14.04.2016 is directed to be disposed of, within a stipulated time limit.

4.In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
