5.Mrs.Prabha : Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein, especially the third and fourth respondents herein, to consider the representation of the petitioner, in parawise, dated 08.02.2017 and initiate action, against the fifth respondent, for committing financial irregularities after forging the documents, for issuing uncrossed cheques without doing works in Panchayat, on the basis of the audit reports from the year 2005-2006 to 2012-2013, by initiating criminal prosecution as well as to initiate surcharge proceedings as against the fifth respondent for the commitment of financial irregularity in the capacity of Panchayat President and to recover the amount from the fifth respondent as per law. *********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner has not produced any material to substantiate his contention that the fifth respondent misappropriated the funds belonging to Mullanginavilai Village Panchayat. We, therefore, do not find any reason to entertain this Writ Petition.

2. The Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to produce materials to substantiate the allegations against the fifth respondent.

No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
