: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the "Aadalum Paadalum" dance programme on 04.07.2017 and 05.07.2017 in pursuant to the Kumbabishegam of Arulmigu Sree Kaliamman Ambal - Arulmigu Subramaniarswamy Thirukoil, situated at Rayamundanpatti Village, Budalur Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2017.

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner seeks for issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct cultural programme on 04.07.2017 and 05.07.2017 in connection with a temple festival and to the said effect, he has submitted a representation to the respondents on 27.06.2017. Since, the representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the representation is still pending with the respondents, this Court is not inclined to give any positive direction in this Writ Petition, but, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
