In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition at the admission stage itself.

2. Mr.A.K.Manickam, learned Standing Counsel for Government, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, there is one post of Supervisor is vacant in the third respondent Panchayat Union and he is eligible to the said post. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation on 09.04.2021, to the third respondent, seeking to provide promotion to the petitioner. Since, no order has been passed, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the third respondent. If any such representation is received, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
