PRAYER :- To enlarge the petitioner on bail pending trail in S.C.No.525 of 2018 on the file of the V Additional District Judge, Madurai. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ Accused, who was arrested and remanded judicial custody on 08.04.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 307 of IPC r/w.25(1)(A) of Arms Act and 34 of IPC in Crime No.656 of 2016, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.Earlier the petitioner was arrested and released on bail. Thereafter the petitioner did not appear before the trial Court , hence Non Bailable Warrant was issued on 15.03.2023. The petitioner was arrested on execution of Non Bailable Warrant on 08.04.2023. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the date of hearing the petitioner was confined in prison in another case, hence he was unable to appear before the trial Court for hearing. CRL OP(MD). No.8857 of 2023 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that petitioner is having 33 previous cases and if he is released on bail, he will abscond again, hence he objected to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Taking into consideration the gravity of offence and also taking note of the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
