this Court under the judicial review, by invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that though the petitioners have made representations dated 23.06.2020 before the respondents 1 and 2 by explaining their grievances, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petitions have been filed with the relief sought for in the prayer.
3.In reply, Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that the petitioners' representations dated 23.06.2020 will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4.Heard both sides.
5.I find that there is a force in the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and absolutely there is a delay in decision making process on the part of the respondents 1 and 2 in disposing of such representations. 6.In the light of the above, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representations dated 23.06.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;
7.With the above direction, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
